This product is an I/O Interface and software from the Series Six product line. This product was designed and manufactured by Horner Electric. The HE697BEM600 can be used with the external power supply module from the Series 90-30 product line that features a whole range of programmable logic controller series 5, or PLC-5, units. This I/O interface module is developed to function with a power supply that delivers five (5) and twenty-four (24) volts. It also needs a PSOK signal from the external power source to guarantee that modules within the rack are appropriately shut down before power loss. This module's peak power consumption ranges from thirty (30) watts at five (5) volts direct current (DC) to thirty (30) watts at twenty-four (24) volts direct current (DC) isolated voltage. This Horner Electric product has a remote sense adjustment range of six (6.0) volts.
Furthermore, the power fails range of this adapter is four (4) milliseconds before a loss of five (5) or twenty-four (24) volts, and the output ripple range is +/-1 percent p-p max. Its output noise level is +/-5 percent p-p max at the same time. This product offers protection against both overvoltages and overcurrents. This I/O module for the Series 90-30 products is compact and easy to manage. Its compact design architecture makes it suitable for logistics storage, and it also makes it portable in case of technology modification or replacement in bulk quantity in the plant-wide scenario.
