The HE693STG883 is a high-resolution strain gauge input module from the 90-30 series by Horner Electric. It is a 16-bit resolution module that supports eight channels. In addition, this unit's power consumption comprises an inrush current: relay constant state: 150 milliamps at 5 volts dc, 80 milliamps at 24 volts dc Relay with 60 milliamps at 5 volts dc and 30 milliamps at 24 volts, respectively. Besides that. it has an input range in millivolts: +/-20, +/-25, +/-30. Moreover, this gage strain input module has a 10v dc excitation monitoring range, a >1000 mΩ input impedance level, and a 0.3 percent accuracy ratio. Aside from these attributes, it also includes an integrating conversion type and can convert 35 channels per second to these features. This module's operating temperature range is 0 to 60°C, and the relative humidity range suited for this module is 5% to 95% non-condensing.

With this module, users can also turn on or off channels. As a result, the unit's response time should not be impacted by longer usable channels. In addition to these useful features, the module can also monitor and compensate for load cell excitation voltage changes. The module, however, does not have an excitation voltage output. Aside from that, it has a set-point for each channel, which enables the ladder logic to initiate real-time applications. Overall this 16-bit high-resolution strain gauge module offers basic features compared to recent product ranges. However, it can be used as a replacement due to its reliable build quality.
