Part number HE693RLY110 is a relay output module that was designed and produced by Horner Electric. This module aids users by adding eight (8) high-current relay outputs to the GE Fanuc Series 90TM-30 PLCs, or programmable logic controllers. Each output is fused and completely isolated from the others. This device has an operating voltage of twelve (12) to two hundred and sixty-five (265) volts alternating current (AC), or twelve (12) to thirty (30) volts direct current (DC). The alternating current (AC) frequency range of this Horner Electric device is forty-seven (47) to sixty-three (63) hertz. Because the outputs are dry contacts, you can use a variety of voltage types and levels at the same time. The outputs are also high current, delivering up to eight (8) amperes per circuit, for a total current of fifty (50) amperes per module. This module eliminates the need for costly isolation relay and wiring, which adds to its desirability and cost justification. This isolated relay output module is built with low-power CMOS technology. The Series 90-30 rack power supply provides the five (5) volts direct current (DC) and twenty-four (24) volts direct current (DC) power required to operate the module. The module consumes one hundred and fifty (150) milliamperes at twenty-four (24) volts direct current (DC) and fifty (50) milliamperes at five (5) volts direct current (DC). This design includes eight (8) mechanical relays that allow each circuit to be isolated. The user field wiring is connected to a removable terminal strip on the faceplate of the module.
