The HE670RLY168 is an isolated type High Current Relay with the utmost current capability of 8 Amperes per point. The module as an aggregate together can dissipate a maximum of 50 Amperes at any one time. Each relay is entirely isolated from others so it gives the flexibility of combining voltage levels with a maximum voltage of 250 Volts AC or 30 Volts DC. All of the relays are Normally Open type Contacts and each relay is separately fused. The relay and fuses are field-replaceable. The RLY168 is a generic 16-point output card that acquires two slots in the rack and uses 16 discrete output registers (%Q). TheHE670RLY168 can be configured with the Horner Electric Bus Interface Unit utilizing a Hand-Held Programmer (HHP). The HE670RLY168 can also be configured utilizing other categories of master units.
When using more than one relay card on the same bus unit, each relay card must be configured in its slot. The grounding strategy for the HE670RLY168 outcome module is made feasible because the I/O terminal blocks are able to be mounted on the DIN rail panels. Discrete analog I/O for intelligent local signal processing is provided by using the field control I/O modules.
