The Horner HE670ADC810 is a PLC I/O series, +/-10VDC, isolated analog input module compatible with the GE Fanuc field control processors. It has 8, single ended, common low side, analog input channels, with a resolution of 12-bits (0 to +10)/ 11-bits + sign (-10 to +10). The electric field control module converts input voltage signals to digital values (typically -10,000 to +10,000) with a conversion time of 60 µs per channel and places the digitized data directly into the global output data of the module. The digital values are then accessible by any device that is capable of monitoring global data on the Genius LAN. The converter adds a maximum error of +/- 0.1% full scale at room temperature (25°C) and a nonlinearity of +/- 0.025% of scale. It has a 130 mA backplane power consumption.
The HE670ADC810 analog input module has an input impedance of 501K ohms, +/-2% and a +/- 12VDC input voltage to common. It does not require any power supply to be connected by the user. The module’s typical range and output format are +10VDC, +/-10VDC, and 10V = 10000 counts respectively and are selectable by the BIU. The module’s isolation from bus for input/common terminals is 3 kV Peak Transient and 1 kV continuous. It has a maximum isolation leakage of 7uA at 240 VAC and employs a 1.3 kHz input noise filter. The module has a temperature coefficient of 0.005% per °C and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 75°C and a relative humidity range of 5% to 95%, non-condensing. It is packaged in a standard field control I/O case, and is compatible with a variety of I/O bases, enabling flexible termination options.
