IC200PNS001 is a VersaMax PROFINET Scanner (PNS) network module manufactured by GE Fanuc. The module can deliver output data and retrieve input data by interfacing the VersaMax module’s remote nodes to the PROFINET I/O network. The IC200PNS001 is equipped with two RJ-45 media connectors and can use up to two power supplies. The second power supply of the module is optional. Both these power supplies can be directly mounted on the module. The operating temperature of the module ranges from 0oC to 60oC. The height of the scanner is 5.2 millimeters and its width is 5.28 millimeters. This PROFINET Scanner module can be used with series RX3i Programmable Logic control CPUs with firmware version 7.0 or higher and with Proficy Machine Edition of version 7.0 or higher.
The IC200PNS001 PROFINET Scanner module requires a power of 3 Watts to operate. The module doesn’t include a built-in carrier. IC200PNS001 includes a USB port that is used for upgrading the module’s firmware. This port is compliant with USB 2.0. It also supports one IP address and Classless Inter-Domain Routing or CIDR technology. Also, it supports a maximum of 8 I/O modules per station. The total I/O data that the module can handle per station is 2880 bytes out of which 1440 bytes are allocated for output and the remaining 1440 bytes are allocated for input. This module is also compliant with RoHS technology. I/O data update on the LAN is configurable to 1ms, 2ms, 4ms, 8ms, 16ms, 32ms, 64ms, 128ms, 256ms, and 512ms.
