The IC200MDL750 is a discrete output module that offers two groups of 16 discrete outputs. The outputs of this discrete module are sourcing types and positive. These modules switch the loads to the positive side of DC supply and deliver current to the loads. The external power supply must be offered to switch power to the loads. The CPU and NIU provide intelligent processing for this module. The ON response time is 0.3 milliseconds maximum and the OFF response time is 1.0 millisecond maximum. The output voltage range for the IC200MDL750 is from +10.2 to +30 VDC with +12/24 VDC nominal. The output voltage drop is 0.3 Volts maximum.
This positive logic output module (IC200MDL750) offers two groups with each group having 16 outputs that have DC+ and DC– terminal. Each output is discrete, which means that the output signal has only two available states i.e. ON and OFF state or open and close state. The module outputs perform positive load switching to direct current power supply and deliver energy to the loads. It operates in combination with a carrier base from the IC200CHSxxx family. The output module will consume up to 90.0 milliamperes of current from a 5.0 Volt backplane power source. The IC200MDL750 device must be upgraded to the higher version, IC200MDL750B, or its new versions to operate with 12.0 Volts DC. Isolated points and channels are not supported in this module, but it can offer isolation of each group of 16 points. This module also offers thermal derating and for field wiring, each group of outputs has a terminal for DC+ and DC- in addition to output points. External suppression circuits should be used during inducting load wiring.
