Part number IC200MDL743 is a VersaMax discrete signal output module that was designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc. One may choose between a negative logical or sinking logical setup for each output of this device. The output points of this unit perform load switch directed to the downside of a DC power supply, also called the return side, and, therefore, accepts current via electrical loads. For full output load switching, the IC200MDL743 requires an external power supply. This device operates in two (2) modes, each with its own voltage needs. The first mode is the 12/24VDC mode which has a voltage range of +10.2 to +30 volts DC, with a nominal voltage of +12/24 volts DC. The other mode of this device is the 5VDC-TTL mode, which has a voltage range of +4.75 to +5.25 volts DC, along with a nominal voltage rated at +5 volts DC.

The Emerson - GE Fanuc IC200MDL743 discrete signal output module has an output voltage drop of 0.3 volts maximum for the 12/24VDC mode and 0.4 volts maximum for the 5VDC-TTL mode. The load current rating for this device while in 12/24VDC mode is 0.5 amperes at 30 volts DC maximum, as well as 2.0 amperes inrush maximum for 100 milliseconds. In 5VDC-TTL mode, this device has a load current rating of 25 milliamperes maximum. The output leakage current of this device is 0.5 milliamperes at 30 volts DC maximum. The on response time of this device is 0.2 milliseconds maximum, while the off response time is 1.0 milliseconds maximum.
