The GE Fanuc Emerson IC200MDD845 is an input/output module that includes sixteen (16) inputs and eight (8) outputs. The module inputs are grouped into two (2) groups of eight (8) inputs that support a voltage range from 0 volts DC to 30 volts DC. The module outputs are grouped into a single group of eight (8) outputs that deliver a voltage range from either 0 volts DC to 125 volts DC or from 0 volts AC to 265 volts AC at a frequency range from 47 hertz to 63 hertz. These inputs and outputs have green LED indicators to show the on/off status of points. The inputs are either positive or negative logic and the outputs are individually isolated Form A relay points. This module employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 250 volts AC continuously between logic and field sides and 1500 volts AC for one minute.

The IC200MDD845 can be easily mounted in any input or output slot of the baseplate. The device provides an on response time of 0.5 milliseconds and an off response time of 0.5 milliseconds. The device draws a current of 270 milliamperes at a backplane voltage of 5 volts DC. The module outputs deliver a current of 2 amperes per point. The IC200MDD845 has an output voltage drop of 0.3 volts. The module intelligent processing is performed and achieved by either the NIU or the CPU. This VersaMax module provides input filter times that can be selectable through the software configuration, offers input data length of 16 bits, and receives output data length of 8 bits. The IC200MDD845 weighs approximately 270 grams (0.59 pounds) while shipping and operates at 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.
