The IC200EBI001 is an Ethernet Network Interface unit from GE Fanuc. The module is classified as an Ethernet slave module that serves as a controller for a set of I/O modules. Installation of the module on the DIN rail is easy as the user is only required to click the unit into its place. When installing the power supply for the unit, the latch should be in an unlocked position and the latch post and all the connectors should be aligned. Once the power supply is pressed, and the tabs click into place, the latch needs to be locked in for the security of the power supply. The address of the module can be configured with 3 rotary switches located under a transparent protective door. The module has an RJ-45 Ethernet port, a power supply connector, an expansion connector, a DIN rail latch, a carrier connector, and panel mounting holes. The module supports Modbus/TCP protocol and can have up to 10 Module TCP connections when IC200EBI001 is used in the Modbus mode. The module can be installed on a 35 x 7.5 millimeter conductive DIN rail. An unshielded RJ-45 connector should be used to connect to the Ethernet network. The IC200EBI001 supports Remote I/O manager 2.0 configuration software and VersaPro 2.0 software.
