The GE Fanuc Emerson IC200ALG262 is a VersaMax analog current input module that can be employed in many industrial applications. This module provides eight (8) differential current inputs which can convert an analog signal to a digital signal with a resolution of 15 bits. The IC200ALG262 inputs can be selected using the terminal jumper for a current range from either zero (0) to 20 milliamperes or 4 to 20 milliamperes. This module draws a current of 200 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 Volts DC. The IC200ALG262 has a single green LED indicator on the faceplate to provide the diagnostic feature and show the current status, power, and user power state of this module. The IC200ALG262 provides analog input data of 8 words. The IC200ALG262 inputs can be programmed and configured to either default or hold last state operation.

The IC200ALG262 processing can be performed by either NIU or a CPU. The IC200ALG262 has an input impedance of 100 ohms and detects field power loss and open wires for each channel. The IC200ALG262 provides an accuracy of ± 0.3 percent at 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) and ± 1 percent maximum of full scale. The IC200ALG262 offers an update data rate of 7.5 milliseconds and employs the backplane optical isolation provided by optocouplers to offer electrical isolation of 250 Volts AC continuously and 1500 Volts AC for one minute between logic and frame ground. The IC200ALG262 weighs approximately 450 grams (0.99 pounds) while shipping and operates at zero (0) to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.
