The GE Fanuc Emerson IC697MDL341 is an output module that includes twelve output points that deliver a voltage rating range from 85 volts AC to 264 volts AC at a frequency range from 47 hertz to 63 hertz. The module outputs are labeled with green LED indicators to show the on/off status of outputs. This module employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 500 volts AC continuously between logic and field sides and 1500 volts AC for one minute. The IC697MDL341 can be easily mounted in any input or output slots of the Field Control system. The output module provides an on response time of 1 millisecond and an off response time of 0.5 milliseconds. The module has another LED indicator labeled “FUSE OK” that indicates the fuse state of outputs. This device can be employed with Series 90-70 PLCs for incandescent and inductive loads.

The IC697MDL341 draws a current of 250 milliamperes at a backplane voltage of 5 volts DC. The module outputs deliver a current of 2 amperes per point. The IC697MDL341 has an output voltage drop of 1.5 volts and a leakage current from 3 milliamperes at 120 volts AC to 6 milliamperes at 240 volts AC.
