The IC697ACC621 is a rack fan assembly with a capability of two fans being mounted on it. Designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc, this rack fan assembly is an accessory for the Series 90-70 programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used for enhancing the cooling of the electrical components when in operation. This rack fan assembly features filters made of Polyurethane foam that helps in the prevention of buildup of dust and other particles into the system. To avoid the filter from being clogged, the rack assembly should be positioned in a clean place that is free of dust and other flying particles. An advantage of the GE Fanuc IC697ACC621 is that noise pollution is minimized, as it operates with little to no noise. 

The voltage input that is required for operation is one hundred and twenty (120) volts AC (alternating current) at a frequency range of fifty (50) to sixty (60) hertz (Hz). The input power for each fan is fifteen (15) watts to twenty (20) watts, whereas the current flowing in each fan line circuit is 0.24 amperes to 0.34 amperes. When operating this device, the temperature of the surrounding area should remain within a range of -28 to 70 degrees Celsius. This rack fan assembly is compatible with an RX7i PacSystem rack with nine (9) slots, as well as a Series 90-70 rack that consists of five (5) slots. This GE Fanuc rack fan assembly has an estimate weight of four (4) pounds, or the equivalent of 1.81 kilograms.
