The IC693MDL931 is an isolated relay output module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is included in the 90-30 series of programmable logic controllers. This module features four normally closed (N.C.) as well as four Form C relays. The normally closed or normally open contacts have a rated output switching capability of up to 8 amperes per output. For UL installations, the maximum load rating is 20 amperes. The inrush current rating is a maximum of 8 amperes each cycle. The module has an input voltage rating of 24 volts DC or 120 to 240 volts AC with an operating frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz. This relay is compatible with any slot in a 5 or 10 slot I/O baseplate inside a PLC kit from the 90-30 series. The output voltage range for DC power is 5 to 30 volts, and the output voltage range for AC power is 5 to 250 volts AC at a nominal frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. The relay outputs are isolated from each other and have individual terminals for power output. The IC693MDL931 does not contain integrated fuses. It has built-in LED indicators that provide output status for each relay. This output module is rated for a maximum power consumption of 45 milliamperes, with all outputs operating when the module is receiving power from the 5-volt bus on the backplane. When power is being received from the relay 24-volt bus on the backplane, the module’s power consumption is 100 milliamperes with all outputs active.
