This GE Fanuc module has positive logic or negative logic feature only and can be used to interface input devices such as pushbuttons and other similar devices. If operators need to check the energy level of channels or if they need to troubleshoot, light emitting diode (LED) indicators are present on the top of the module and if needed, the wiring and current identification information is also present on an insert that is located between the inner and outer surface of the hinged door. Therefore, it is important to open the hinged door and follow all the necessary information. This module created by GE Fanuc is also a low voltage module, which is clearly indicated by the outside edge of the insert, which is color coded blue. Furthermore, this module can be installed in any input output slot of a five (5) to ten (10) slot base plate of any PLC system.
