The IC693CPU360 is a central processing unit (CPU) module used mainly for the programmable logic controllers (PLC) 90-30 systems. In addition, the module has eight base plates and has a single slot per system. The module also comes with the 80386EX processor, which has a processing speed of 25 MHz. Moreover, the module can operate at 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The CPU modules scan boolean contact. In regards to the IC693CPU360, the module can scan up to one thousand logic in 0.22 ms. This CPU module's corresponding user memory characteristics are as follows: the module begins with the 9.0 firmware version with the 240 K bytes. However, technically, the size of available user program memory is subject to the quantity of overall configured memory for the variables, such as %R, %AI, and %AQ. All of which are configurable word memory categories. In addition, users using firmware releases before the said version will get the fixed user program memory of 80 K bytes, which is limited memory space for the user program and applications. Besides that, this module needs 670 mA via a +5 V Direct Current (Nominal). The discrete I/O points allowed for this module are 2,048. The module is compatible with the registers and has more than 2 K timers. Furthermore, it has a single inbuilt serial port that uses a connector on the power supply and is compatible with the SNP and SNP-X slave protocols. Similarly, the module uses LAN, Profibus, GBC, GCM, GCM+, and other standards for communication.
