The IC693ALG222 is an analog voltage input module by the GE Fanuc 90-30 Series. This 16 channel module is for PLC devices. It can provide either 16 single-ended or eight differential input channels that are selectable. Each channel is capable of transforming an analog input into a digital value for the use of a specific user application. The module offers two inputs: the unipolar input with the range between 0V to 10V. Second, a bipolar input that ranges between -10 to +10V. However, the default input mode on this module is single-ended. Thus, it is unipolar with the user data scaled so that 0V corresponds to 0 to 10V count, thus leading to +32000. Aside, the default calibration range on this module for its two inputs is 2.5 mV per count on 0V to +10V (unipolar) and five mV per count on –10 to +10V (bipolar). In addition, the update time for all 16 single-ended channels takes 6ms and 3ms for eight differential channels. Moreover, the resolution at 0 to +10V will be 0.2.5 mV (1 LSB = 2.5 mV) and 5 mV (1 LSB = 5 mV) for resolution at - 10V to +10V. The corresponding absolute accuracy on this module for scale is ± 0.25% of full scale @ 25C (77F), and full scale over specified operation temperature is ± 0.5%. The linearity of this module ranges from < 1 LSB. Moreover, the common-mode voltage for eight channels is ± 11V (bipolar range). Finally, the internal power consumption of IC693ALG222 is 112mA max from the backplane +5V DC bus or 41mA max from the backplane isolated +24V DC supply.
