The GE Fanuc Emerson IC698PSD300 is a high capacity power supply that delivers a power of 300 Watts. The IC698PSD300 supports an input voltage range from 18 Volts DC to 30 Volts DC. The IC698PSD300 delivers three (3) different output voltages with different output currents: 5 Volts DC with a current of 50 Amperes, 12 Volts DC with a current of 10 Amperes, and -12 volts DC with a current of 4 Amperes. The IC698PSD300 includes single fuse protection that has a current rating of 30 Amperes. The IC698PSD300 can be mounted on the RX7i main rack into slot zero (0). The IC698PSD300 is employed for PACSystems* RX7i and offers both overvoltage and overcurrent protection. It employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 250 Volts AC continuously between inputs and 1500 Volts AC for one minute.

This power supply supports an overvoltage of 6.7 Volts DC using a jumper to protect devices and an overcurrent of 65 Amperes on the 5 Volts DC output, 15 Amperes on the 12 Volts DC output, and 6 Amperes on the -12 volts DC output using an electronic short circuit. The IC698PSD300 power supply supports a maximum input power of 550 Watts at full load and an inrush current of 100 Amperes. The IC698PSD300 delivers a total electrical power of 300 Watts. The IC698PSD300 has a holdup time of 5 milliseconds.
