The GE IC695RMX128 is a redundancy memory exchange module that can be employed as either a reflective memory network node or a specific connection between CPUs in a hot standby CPU. The IC695RMX128 can be easily mounted in the main RX3i rack which can support six (6) RMX modules. The IC695RMX128 can be removed or inserted under power and servefs as a high-speed module that can be employed in a 2.12 gigabaud fibre-optic network. The IC695RMX128 offers a transfer rate of 2.1 gigabits per second. The IC695RMX128 senses and detects network errors and offers the possibility to configure output interrupt; it provides four (4) 32-bit general-purpose network interrupts. The IC695RMX128 contains ten (10) LED indicators located on the faceplate to show the module and communication status.

The IC695RMX128 offers a user memory of 128 megabytes. This module draws a current of 220 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 Volts DC and a current of 580 milliamperes at a voltage of +3.3 Volts DC. The IC695RMX128 provides a connection distance of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) over a single-mode fibre optic network. The IC695RMX128 controls dynamic packet sizes of 4 bytes to 68 byte and is an open type module that should be mounted in an enclosure to protect the internal circuitry and to meet the IP20 and NEMA Type 1 enclosure rating. The IC695RMX128 minimizes the packet loss on the network by introducing the optional redundant transfer mode. It weighs approximately 230 grams (0.5 pounds) while shipping.

The GE Fanuc Automation IC695RMX128 comes with a user memory of 128 megabytes SDRAM. It comes with Compatibility with RMC128/RMX228 modules. As far as error alerts are concerned, this device is equipped with network error detection, hot insertion and removal, and configurable network. This GE Fanuc device is ideal for use where a hot standby CPU redundancy system is used. As a backup device, these systems must be using a secondary CPU. There must be a solid and continuous data transfer between these two devices at all times. When the link formed by this module is not in use, it is similar to the main module. The GE Fanuc Automation IC695RMX128 is used to share data between different PCs and other computing devices. In order to establish a connection, these devices must be connected using a high-speed fiber-optic network. Using a daisy chain loop, part number IC695RMX128 is capable of being connected to other devices. One hundred and twenty-eight (128) kilobytes, or KB, is the reflective memory rating on this module.

The IC695RMX128 module is able to be used with other external devices using a fiber optic cable. The cable must be installed in a daisy-chain loop. Until the transmission reaches the final receiver, it passes through various nodes. The resolution of this product is four (4) networks of thirty-two (32) bits each. It comes with a 128 MB SDRAM user memory. It allows the sharing of data between connected computers and other computing devices. The connection is established with such devices using the fiber optic cable.
