The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695CPE305 is a CPU that can be employed for Rx3i PacSystem. The CPU is employed to achieve real-time monitoring of machines and processes. The device includes 5 megabytes of RAM, 10 megabytes of NVRAM storage, 5 megabytes of user storage, 16-kilowords for analog I/O, and 16 kilobits discrete I/O. This CPU contains a USB interface 2.0 type A to send and save applications and an extra RS-232 port to update the firmware. The IC695CPE305 includes eleven LED indicators on the faceplate to show the current CPU status. The device includes an embedded Ethernet port that supports Serial I/O, Modbus RTU Slave, SNP connections and includes a single RJ-45 Ethernet port that senses automatically the data rate of either 10 megabits per second or 100 megabits per second, half or full-duplex and wiring arrangement either crossover or straight link.

The IC695CPE305 supports 512 program blocks with 128 kilobytes for each. This device is compatible with expansion racks and the majority of series 90-30 modules. The CPU supports configurable program memory and data. The IC695CPE305 exchanges data with the programmer via either Ethernet or serial port and with I/O and modules via a dual Serial/PCI backplane. This CPU can be programmed using ladder, ST, FBD, and C programming languages. This device has an optional energy pack that can store sufficient electrical power to ensure the workability of CPU and memory circuits for a short time when the input power is disconnected or the battery is removed. This device draws a current of 1 ampere at a voltage of 3.3 volts DC and 5 volts DC, and 500 milliamperes at a voltage of 24 volts DC.
