The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695CMU310 is a Max-ON CPU that can offer a hot-standby CPU redundancy by employing two Rx3i PacSystems. The CPU is employed to achieve real-time monitoring of machines and processes. The device includes 10 megabytes of RAM, 10 megabytes of NVRAM storage and user storage, 32-kilowords for analog I/O, and 32 kilobits discrete I/O. This CPU contains the RS-232 and the RS-485 serial ports to send data, save applications, and update the firmware. Thanks to the dedicated Ethernet LANs, this module is capable of establishing communication with other devices. In order to build a holistic RX3i system application, users must form a connection with multiple sources. Among the sources are an RX3i universal backplane, Series 90-30 expansion backplanes, Ethernet modules, PacSystems devices, etc. For durability and flexibility, this module comes with ten (10) MB (megabytes) of battery backed memory. The IC695CMU310 requires only zero point one nine five (0.195) milliseconds (ms) to execute one hundred (100) Boolean contacts or coils. There are 2 (two) serial communication ports on this module. These ports are the RS-232, as well as the RS-485 serial ports. This GE Fanuc product is in compliance with the PCI 2.2 standards, as well as many other standards. The GE Fanuc IC695CMU310 comes with five hundred and twelve (512) program blocks. For faster processing, it comes equipped with reference table bulk memory accessing. During power outage, the battery pack helps with sustaining the memory storage. Before installation, the backplane power of this device must be turned off. Additionally, located on the front of this product are LED (light-emitting diode) indicators that are used to display the status of the device's CPU.
