The GE Fanuc IC695CMM004 is a type of serial module for industrial communication. This device belongs to the RX3i series of products manufactured by GE Fanuc. On this module, there are eight (8) isolated and independent serial ports. For the purpose of establishing communication, in an RX3i chassis, a maximum of six (6) serial modules can be mounted. The module's ports can be set to Modbus slave, Serial I/O, and Modbus master ports. The ports can also be programmed as slave CCM ports for modules.

Software programmable RS-485, RS-422, RS-232 serial communication ports, a baud range of 1200 to 115.2k baud, error status reporting, and backplane separation from port are among the features of the IC695CMM004 industrial module. The RS-485/422 protocols offer full-duplex and half-duplex operation. The CE, 1604, ATEX, and UL/CUL standards and regulations are all met by the IC695CMM004 industrial module.

While the power on the chassis is on, the IC695CMM004 industrial module can be added and removed. This module may be configured when combined with software. The RJ-45 interface is the physical interface for serial ports. At 3.3 volts DC (direct current), the module requires 0.7 amperes, as well as 0.15 amperes at 5 volts DC (direct current), to operate. The maximum overvoltage rating of the GE Fanuc IC695CMM004 is +/-25 volts.

The continuous isolation between the port and the backplane is 250 volts alternating current (AC). The port-to-port isolation is 500 volts direct current (DC) when the module is operating continuously. When operating for one minute, however, the port-to-port isolation is 710 volts direct current (DC).
