The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695ALG808 is an analog voltage/current output module that is used for the Rx3i PacSystem. This module provides eight (8) well-isolated output channels which can be enabled or disabled individually. The IC695ALG808 offers a fast channel acquisition time of 8 milliseconds. The IC695ALG808 outputs can be programmed for either voltage or current output ranges: from 4 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes with a resolution of 15.6 bits, from 0 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes with a resolution of 15.9 bits, from zero (0) Volts DC to 10 Volts DC with a resolution of 14.9 bits, or from -10 Volts DC to 10 Volts DC with a resolution of 15.9 bits. This module draws a current of 80 milliamperes at a voltage of 3.3 Volts DC. The IC695ALG808 has three (3) LED indicators which are located on the faceplate to show the power and field status of this module.

The IC695ALG808 supports either 32-bit or 16-bit integer data output that can be set as floating point IEEE. The IC695ALG808 has a red/green LED indicator labelled “TB” which indicates the state of the terminal block. The IC695ALG808 supports a spring, box, extended spring or extended box style front terminal block. The IC695ALG808 can be easily mounted in an RX3i universal backplane. This module provides diagnostics features and offers the possibility to the user to employ an external isolated power supply with a voltage of 24 Volts DC. The IC695ALG808 weighs approximately 290 grams (0.63 pounds) while shipping and operates at zero (0) to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.

This module comes with an industrial-grade housing. It also comes with several Indicator LEDs. These LEDs display the module status, the field status, and the status of the terminal block. This module is designed to be used with the RX3i PACSystems series. For operations, it is meant to be used on the back of universal backplanes. For power, this module requires an external source. The external source needs to have 24 Volts DC nominal voltage rating. The IC695ALG808 has a power dissipation rating of 7.5 W. Operators can set up the module to create an over-temperature alert of the internal temperature of the IC695ALG808 is significantly larger than the number of outputs that are on at the same time. If one of the eight channel outputs on the module is not being used and is not wired, operators have the option to disable the channel. It is unnecessary for users to configure any of the parameters for a channel that has been disabled. However, if a channel has already been configured to either a current or voltage output, users still have the option to disable the channel. For a current channel, this will set the output to 0mA. A disabled voltage channel will have an output of 0V. The IC695ALG808 also gives operators the ability to set high and low alarms, as well as high-high and low-low alarms, that can be specific to each of the eight output channels. Current output channels have a maximum output load of 1350 Ohms and voltage channels have a minimum output load of 2 Kohms.
