The GE IC695ALG312 is an isolated thermocouple input module that has twelve (12) differential channels. The IC695ALG312 inputs can be configured using the Machine Edition program as thermocouple, voltage, and current inputs. The IC695ALG312 offers a fast channel acquisition time range from 15 milliseconds to 120 milliseconds and a configurable notch filter range from 2.3 Hertz to 28 Hertz. The IC695ALG312 provides a full autocalibration and on-board issue-checking. The IC695ALG312 can be easily installed in a universal RX3i backplane. The IC695ALG312 contains three (3) LED indicators located on the faceplate to show the module, field and terminal block status. This module draws a current of 300 milliamperes at a voltage of +5 Volts DC and a current of 400 milliamperes at a voltage of +3.3 Volts DC. The IC695ALG312 inputs support J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, or C thermocouple types and a voltage range of from either -150 millivolts to +150 millivolts or -50 millivolts to +50 millivolts.

This module provides a resolution from 11.5 bits to 16 bits which may vary according to the input range and A/D filter frequency. The IC695ALG312 dissipates an electrical power of 3.5 watts and employs the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation of 250 Volts AC continuously between backplane and field sides and 1500 Volts AC. The IC695ALG312 supports a spring, box, extended spring, or extended box style front terminal block. The IC695ALG312 update rate of CJC is fixed at 20 Hertz. The IC695ALG312 can be removed or inserted under power. The IC695ALG312 supports either 32-bit floating-point or 16-bit integer data input. The IC695ALG312 offers the possibility to select temperature units in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. The IC695ALG312 weighs approximately 450 grams (0.99 pounds) while shipping.
