The IC695ACC302 battery module is a more powerful version of the IC693ACC302. It offers extra protection for a machine's volatile memory unit. It is dependable, and it is equipped with a "low battery" sensing function. It works with a variety of RX3i PACSystems devices. The battery is a three-cell lithium-ion battery with a 3 V DC output voltage rating and a 15 Amps per hour ability. The IC695ACC302 is mostly utilized in industrial applications.

The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695ACC302 is an auxiliary smart battery module that can be used under the Rx3i PacSystem family. This module provides an extended RAM backup time. The IC695ACC302 has a battery control circuit that allows the user to check and detect in advance the battery at low state before becoming completely discharged. The IC695ACC302 replaces the classic CPU RAM backup battery in the PACSystem family. The IC695ACC302 provides a battery capacity of 15 Ampere hours with an output voltage of 5 Volts DC. The IC695ACC302 contains 5.1 grams of litium with three (3) cells that include 1.7 grams of lithium per cell. The IC695ACC302 output voltage is greater than 2.5 volts DC when the battery module is in its good state. The IC695ACC302 output voltage will be less than 2.5 Volts DC when the battery is not in its good state, which will generate the battery low condition sensed by the PACSystems CPU; the battery LED indicator located on the CPU will begin to blink.

The IC695ACC302 has a width of 65 millimeters (2.559 inches), a height of 39.9 millimeters (1.571 inches) and a length of 145.1 millimeters (5.713 inches). The IC695ACC302 is covered by a black flame-retardant ABS plastic packaging. The IC695ACC302 can be easily mounted on the panel mounting area employing four 8-32 x 1/2 inches flat head machine screws. The IC695ACC302 includes a red/black twisted 22 AWG cable with a length of 0.6 meters (2.36 inches) and a female 4-pin JAE connector. The IC695ACC302 offers a shelf life of seven (7) years at a storage temperature of 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). GE Fanuc manufactures the IC695ACC302 battery module as an auxiliary smart battery module for PLCs that use components from the GE Fanuc RX3i PacSystems family. Because it is created as an upgraded version of the IC693ACC302 battery module and as an update for it, the GE IC695ACC302 auxiliary smart battery module is comparable in design and function to the GE Fanuc IC693ACC302 auxiliary smart battery module. The auxiliary smart battery module IC695ACC302 may give greater volatile memory backup time than earlier battery modules. It can also detect when the batteries in all compatible GE RX3i CPU modules are running low. In the European Union, the GE IC695ACC302 auxiliary smart battery module has received CE certification for use in industrial systems. The battery is indeed a three-cell lithium-ion battery with a 3 Volt DC output operating voltage.
Additionally, it has a 15 amps per hour capacity. The IC695ACC302 battery includes a battery monitoring circuit that alerts operators to a low battery condition before the battery is totally depleted. The battery is compact and weighs only 224 grams. It measures 5.7 inches long, 2.55 inches wide, and 1.57 inches tall. The outside cover is black and constructed of flame-retardant ABS plastic.
Using an enabling adapter connection, the GE Fanuc RX3i PacSystems IC695ACC302 auxiliary smart battery module is placed in the CPU for which it was designed. The technicians attach the male 4-pin JAE connector on one end of the enabling adapter cable to the female 4-pin JAE connector on the IC695ACC302 auxiliary smart battery module and the female 4-pin JAE connector on the CPU. When the 4-pin connector is inserted, the battery is turned on. When the auxiliary smart battery module IC695ACC302 is connected to the CPU when the CPU is turned off, the battery will begin to drain, and the manufacturer suggests replacing the battery when the CPU is turned on to extend the battery life.
