The IC694MDL916 is an RX3i PAC systems series output module manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This relay output module has sixteen (16) output channels and supports point-to-point isolation. The switching current rating of the module is 4 Amperes and the maximum backplane current rating is 300 milliamperes. The relay output module can be installed in any slot designated for the I/O module in PLC. The IC694MDL916 output module is designed to be installed in an RX3i PAC systems Programmable Logic Controller allowing PLCs to communicate with external devices. This module can be installed on any slot designated for I/O modules in the rack. The IC694MDL916 module can be configured either with the Service Pack 2 or later versions of Service Pack software or with the Proficy Software’s machine Edition version.
The IC694MDL916 relay output module uses an external power supply for its operations. The module requires a supply voltage rating of zero (0) to 125 Volts DC or zero (0) to 250 Volts AC. The supported output voltage ranges of the module are zero (0) to 125 Volts DC or 5 to 250 Volts AC with frequency for both the voltage ranges between 47 to 63 Hertz. The response time of the relay output module is around 10 milliseconds between when the module is switched off and when it is switched on. The IC694MDL916 needs to be mounted on the terminal block that will host all the wiring of the module. The module is compatible with different types of terminal blocks including box-style terminal blocks, standard spring terminal blocks, and extended spring and box type terminal blocks.
