The IC694MDL754 is a 12/24 Volt DC Electronic Short Circuit Protection (ESCP) 0.75 Ampere Positive Logic Output Module from GE Fanuc Automation. This discrete output module provides thirty-two (32) discrete output points in two (2) isolated groups, each having sixteen (16) points. Both of these groups have their own common. The output points are the sourcing type or positive logic outputs. These points switch the load on the positive side of the supply and the supply current to the load. The output points can switch the user loads over the range of +12 Volts DC to +24 Volts DC (-15%/ +20%) and can source a current of 0.75 Amperes maximum per point. Each output point of the module has electronic short circuit/overcurrent protection and can generate individual fault in the case that any of these situations exist. Along with the output driver being sent to the RX3i controller, the module provides a field-side power fault loss, field terminal block ON or OFF status, a configuration of DIP switch mismatch fault, and ESCP point failure within the output group.

Each group of output can be used for driving different loads. For example, one output group can drive a 12 Volt DC load, while the other group drives a 24 Volt DC load. The power for the loads for each group should be provided by the user. A DIP switch is used for selecting the output default mode: Hold Last State or Force Off mode. To set this DIP switch, the module needs to be removed from the backplane. The IC694MDL754 module can be used with either a Box Style Front Terminal Block IC694TBB032 or with Spring Style Front Terminal Block IC694TBS032. The blue band on the label of the module indicates that it is a low-voltage module. The IC694MDL754 can be easily installed in any I/O slot in the RX3i system and should be used with an EX3i CPU 0f version 2.90 or higher. The module cannot be used with Series 90-30 PLC.
