Description:
The IC694MDL752 is a negative logic output module that was designed and produced by Emerson - GE Fanuc as a member of the RX3i PacSystem series of products. This module provides 32 distinct TTL voltage threshold output points. These output points are divided into four groups of eight outputs. The inrush rating of this device is 4.6 amperes. Additionally, the maximum backplane draw is rated at 260 milliamperes. The maximum response time from on to off is 0.5 milliseconds.

GE Fanuc designed and manufactured the IC694MDL752 module as a part of the RX3i PacSystem series of products. To fulfill the demands of every application, the IC694MDL752 covers a wide range of voltage ranges, kinds, current capacity, isolation, and response time. It generates 32 different outputs, which are organized into four groups of eight outputs each. Each group can be utilized to power various loads. It has two operating modes, which include the TTL mode and the 12 to 24 volts mode. In TTL mode, the output load switches across +5 Volts of Direct Current, whereas in the 12- to 24-volts mode, the load may transition between +12 and -24 Volts of Direct Current. In both modes, the maximum sinking current is 25 milliamperes and 0.5 amperes, respectively. Input / output connections have two pins for each group, with a current rating of 3 amperes on each pin. When connecting the ground in high current applications which is between 3 and 4 amperes, it is advised to connect both pins. It is critical to consider the consequences of electrical noise when combining TTL and inductive loads. Each point has a pull-up resistor built into it. When the FET output point is turned off, the resistor passively increases the output to the user's positive current input, usually + 5V for TTL mode, giving a high logic level for TTL applications. When the CPU is switched off, all 32 outputs are turned off forcibly. Optocouplers in the module separate the backplane between the field side and the logical side. There are no particular error or alert diagnoses recorded.
