The GE IC694DSM314 is a high-efficiency motion controller that can control one to four (1-4) servo axis. The DSM314 supports either the standard mode or the follower mode. The IC694DSM314 supports GE both α and β series motors and digital servo amplifier applications. It contains an electronic CAM ability and processes blocks in less than 5 milliseconds. The IC694DSM314 provides a position error integrator and velocity feedforward. It has high efficiency and resolution of programming units with a powerful and easy motion program instruction set. The IC694DSM314 supports one to four-axis motion programs. The IC694DSM314 can store ten (10) programs and forty (40) subroutines in non-volatile memory.

The IC694DSM314 has a single-point of connecting to program this module. The IC694DSM314 has a faceplate COMM port to upgrade the firmware which is saved in flash memory. The DSM314 includes analogue outputs with a resolution of 13-bits which can be either monitored by the PLC or employed as a digital servo tuning controller. The IC694DSM314 includes analog I/O and four (4) digital outputs that can support either 24 Volts or 5 Volts. The IC694DSM314 requires a current of 800 milliamperes at a voltage rating of 5 Volts DC. The IC694DSM314 has eight (8) status LED indicators located on the faceplate. The IC694DSM314 also contains two (2) connectors for both 5 Volts DC and 24 Volts DC I/O. The DSM314 is equipped with an FSSB connector that offers optical fiber link to servo amplifiers. This controller weighs approximately 450 grams (0.99 pounds) while shipping and operates at zero (0) to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.
