The IC694ALG392 is an 8-channel Analog Current/Voltage Output module by GE Fanuc Emerson, as part of the PACSystems RX3i Series. Ranges are set up through configuration software for each output channel, and are as follows: 0 to 10 Volts (unipolar), -10 to 10 Volts (bipolar), 0 to 20 milliamperes, and 4 to 20 milliamperes. For each channel, the module can convert 15 to 16 bits of binary data to an analog output (dependent on range selection). The module’s 8 channels are updated every 8 milliseconds. Specifications for the IC694ALG392 include 1 to 8 selectable, single-ended output channels, an output current range selectable from 4 to 20 milliamperes and 0 to 20 milliamperes, an output voltage range selectable from 0 to 10 Volts and -10 to 10 Volts, and factory calibration (calibrated to .625 µA for 0 to 20 milliamperes, 0.5 µA for 4 to 20 milliamperes, and .3125 mV for voltage per count).
