The STXDNS001 recognizes as an RSTi DeviceNet Slave Network Adapter that is developed for the management of high velocity and data intensive industrial applications. It is a 24 Volt Digital Current Module that has a maximum current rating of 70 milliamperes of current. This RSTi DeviceNet adapter can manage up to 42 nodes and 63 slots maximum. It is an expandable module with expansion of up to 32 modules. This adapter utilizes the DeviceNet communication protocol and operates as an extra processor which can be utilized in many applications like manufacturing and motion control, industrial and electronic instrumentation, pneumatic applications, and hydraulic applications. This DeviceNet slave network adaptor is a cost effective solution for expanding the quantity of field devices which RSTI programmable logic control (PLC) system can monitor and control at a time.

The STXDNS001 has been developed to operate in dry locations and inside a protective panel board with an ambient operating temperature ranging between 20 and 60 degrees Celsius. The setup, management, and control processes for the adapter are simple to use for the customers through applying GE Fanuc exclusive software tools. The installation method, maintenance, and cleaning procedure with repairing and troubleshooting must be done by qualified and professional technicians. Safety measures are necessary in the installation procedure to avoid injuries. The maximum digital I/O for the STXDNS001 is 2016 points and maximum analog I/O is 126 Ch. The maximum byte size is 252 bytes. Many operating modes are available for this RSTi DeviceNet slave network adapter, including bit strobe, polling, cyclic, and COS operating mode.
