The ST-4212 is a GE Fanuc analog output module that is included in the PACSystems RSTi series. It offers output via two single-ended channels that are not isolated from each other. The module has a resolution of 12 bits, with 3.9 microamperes resolved per bit. The output current range is between 4 milliamperes and 20 milliamperes, and the output data is provided in the form of a 16-bit integer. The module has a load resistance rating of up to 500 Ohms. This module does not include diagnostic features. It comes pre-calibrated and does not require user calibration. The maximum power dissipation rating for this module at 5 volts DC is 60 milliamperes. The output module supports wiring using a maximum cable diameter of 2 millimeters squared (AWG 14). The module is built to withstand operational shocks of up to 10 G and non-operational shocks of 30 G. The operational altitude is limited to 2000 meters. This module is rated for a field support voltage of Class 2 at 24 volts DC. The operating temperature range is between 0 degrees and 55 degrees Celsius, and the surrounding air temperature range is -20 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius. This module supports mounting via a DIN rail. It has a vibrational shock resistance with a maximum displacement of 0.012 inches and an acceleration of 2 G between 57 and 500 Hz. The module has a sweep rate of one octave per minute and conducts ten frequency sweeps per axis for all three axes.
