This module, which has the catalog number ST-3214, is an analog input module. This GE Fanuc module has an input current that is rated at four (4) to twenty (20) milliamperes, and it also has an input resolution of twelve (12) bits. Aside from that, this module includes four (4) single-ended input channels along with four (4) red or green system status indicators, and one (1) red or green module status indicator. The unit by GE Fanuc also has a sixteen (16) bit integer data format. The GE Fanuc ST-3214 analog input module is equipped with enhanced diagnostics and a four (4) point low-density input setup, which has the capability to be expanded to a sixteen (16) point high-density input setup. In addition to that, this module by GE Fanuc is equipped with an RSTi PacSystem network interface. This network interface can accommodate up to thirty-two (32) slice output and input modules. This device even includes test points that are integrated and are on the terminal block to facilitate troubleshooting. The power dissipation rating of this analog input module is 165 milliamperes maximum at 5.0 volts direct current (DC). This module has an approximate weight of seventy (70) grams.
