The GE Fanuc Emerson IC660EBA103 is an electronics thermocouple assembly block that provides six (6) channels that are grouped into three groups and support either AC or DC power supply. Each isolated group includes two thermocouple inputs and two compensation inputs. The device supports an input voltage of 115 volts AC or 125 volts DC. The block supports an input voltage range from either 105 volts DC to 145 volts DC or 93 volts AC to 132 volts AC at a frequency range from 47 hertz to 63 hertz. The IC660EBA103 offers an input update time of two seconds. The block supports both right-facing up and down installation employing either two bolt holes or screws. This device dissipates an electrical power of 9 watts. The internal CJ can measure a temperature range from 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The external CJ can measure a temperature range from -25 degrees to 150 degrees Celsius (-13 degrees to 302 degrees Fahrenheit). This device can internally detect the issue due to the open-wire, open circuit, and high/low input alarm diagnostics.

The IC660EBA103 can be employed with QBIM and PCIM devices. This unit can be also employed with many types of PLCs such as Series 5, 6 and 90-70 PLCs. The device supports an input voltage measurement from -25 millivolts to +150 millivolts. The unit can be installed in an enclosure to protect the internal circuitry by leaving an amount of space of 5.08 centimeters (2 inches) from all orientations for heat dissipation. The IC660EBA103 detects and offers automatically input over range, under range, and feedback diagnostics. The block provides continuous electrical isolation of 1500 volts AC between inputs and the ground for one minute. This device has LED indicators for the I/O block and can be configured through the software.
