The GE Fanuc Emerson IC630PWR310 is a power supply that provides sufficient electrical power to backplane devices such as NIUs, I/O modules, and CPUs. This power supply supports an input voltage of either 115 volts AC or 230 volts AC at a frequency range from 47 hertz to 63 hertz with an input power of 27 volt-amperes. The IC630PWR310 power can be extended. This power supply has a holdup time of 20 milliseconds. The power supply supports an input voltage from 85 volts AC to 132 volts AC and from 176 volts AC to 264 volts AC. The unit has a faceplate bracket to connect the CPU programmer. This device contains also an expander connector that can be employed to connect the next upstream base unit. The power supply front side includes two captive screw fasteners.

The IC630PWR310 offers three modes of operation. These modes are the fault relay, the run, the run 1, and the test mode. The power supply terminal board includes a fault relay contact that is employed to trigger the alarm condition that is activated by an external module. This power supply offers both short circuit and overload protection. The IC630PWR310 can be employed either as the principal power when installed on the NIU or CPU module or as a secondary power when installed on a power supply booster carrier. The IC630PWR310 weighs approximately 1.83 kilograms (4 pounds) while shipping and operates at 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.
