The IC630MDL375 is a 115/230 Volt AC Output Module that provides sixteen (16) circuits for controlling user-supplied discrete loads. This IC630MDL375 VAC output module is a TRIAC with sixteen circuits. Every circuit is capable of controlling user-supplied discrete loads (ON/OFF loads). Variety of loads can be controlled such as relay coils, motor starters, solenoid valves, and indicator lights. The 16 circuits are divided in to two separate groups of eight (8) circuits. Each group uses a separate power supply and each group has its own common. A 5 Ampere fuse is used by each group of 8 circuits for protection purpose. The maximum switching capacity of the output circuit is 2 Amperes. All 16 output points have light emitting diode as an indicator.
The user supplied voltage ranges from 97 to 265 VAC. The minimum output current is 25 milliamperes and the maximum current is nearly 2 Amperes. The IC630MDL375 has a total inrush current of 20 Amperes for 1 cycle. The internal power consumption is 5 VDC at 35 milliamperes and 12 VDC at 20 milliamperes + 17.5 milliamperes per point. The leakage current is 2.7 milliamperes at 115 Volts, 50 Hertz, and 3.3 milliamperes at 115 Volts with 60 Hertz. The leakage current value changes to 5.5 milliamperes at 230 Volts, 50 Hertz. While the value of current increases from 5.5 milliamperes to 6.6 milliamperes at 230 Volts, 60.0 Hertz. The On delay is less than 0.1 millisecond and off delay is less than or equal to ½ cycle. The power to operate the field device must be supplied by the user.
