GE Fanuc makes the IC600CB536 communication control module as part of its Series Six line. This is a Type 2 connectivity controlling unit. This module can be set up to work with two different types of systems: multidrop and point-to-point. It is possible to connect up to two devices in a point-to-point configuration on the same communication line. The RS-232 or RS-422 ports on the computer then connect the two devices. Also, modems can be used to send data across long distances. You can connect more than two devices to a similar connectivity setup when you use a multidrop configuration to connect them. Set up the host device as the master and one or more IC600CB536 communication control modules as slaves to work with the host device. Some other point is that the device could indeed start communication, however, the slave gadgets can't. This is because the master device can. It can be used with RS-232 modems, RS-422 modems, and RS-232 radio transmitters and modems. To connect the GE Fanuc IC600CB536 communication module to the final slave device, which is less than 4000 feet away from the master device, the RS-422 direct multidrop arrangement is used, which works with the GE Fanuc IC600CB536 communication module. It's meant to be able to manage both high-quality cables and noisy surroundings, but it's not a necessity. If you want to connect up to eight slave devices in a multidrop or daisy-driven framework, you can also use the RS-422 connection option. It's not just two-wire and four-wire versions that are available. The RS-422 line can also be used. To communicate over a long distance, this communication control module is connected to a network of modems called RS-232. These modems are like long telephone lines. You can see how many slave units you can have on your screen thanks to your modem's abilities.
