The IC610MDL112 is a 24-volt direct current input module with a detachable terminal block. GE Fanuc produced this module. It contains sixteen isolated input points, each of which is isolated and is separated into two groups of eight points each. Located on the front of the device are LED indications to indicate whether an input point is connected and operational or not. The terminal unit is designed to receive discrete input data from user-input devices and to process them in order to be sent to the PLC-based operational system. It is compatible with a variety of switches, buttons, and sensing devices. The IC610MDL112 input unit is capable of communicating with input devices that generate their own voltages. Additionally, this input module may be utilized as a sink input device. Operators can power the module separately in sink mode.
The IC610MDL112 input device is linked to the user input devices through the screw terminal on the module's front side. These terminals take a single wire with a diameter of 12 AWG or two wires with a diameter of 14 AWG. The wire markers should be put at a lower limit of 88 inches from the terminating end to provide enough space for the hinged door that opens and close. The IC610MDL112 input module takes a current drawing of 0.25 amps from the 5 volts DC backplane source in general. The module includes a filter with a 20-millisecond delay. Installing and removing the input module is simple. The clamps on the rear of the cover secure it to a rack. For installation and replacement, the module may be slid onto the rail. The module is lightweight and small in size.
