Part number IC610CCM105 was designed and manufactured by Emerson - GE Fanuc. This device is a data communications unit, also known as a DCU. This DCU was manufactured to be a part of GE Fanuc's Series One line of products. The data communication unit performs the task of allowing the devices to transfer data with the different Series One, Series One Plus, Model E Series One modules, and other GE Series One Plus 3.5 K controller modules that are programmable. This unit acts as a host device for all the Series One and Series One Plus modules and controllers. This communication unit is also able to work as a smart device or a computer if required. It can be programmed and then used as a controller. All the data and I/O information present in Series One and Series One Plus product lines, including the data communication unit (DCU), can be downloaded and uploaded to and from any master device. The device must be accessible with Communications Control Module (CCM2) Series Six master and slave protocols, which are mentioned in the GEK-25364 manual. This manual refers to the Series Six of Data Communication devices. The GE Fanuc Series One, or Series One Plus, devices can only act as slaves when communication is taking place. The printer interface devices are often used with Series One devices. This connects and interfaces various computer devices, printers, and other applications. This provides the user with a hard-copy of the program in either a ladder diagram or the Boolean format.
