The GE Fanuc IC670ALG330 Genius I/O field control module consists of 8-point analog output. It is an analog source output that is designed to use for the Genius I/O Field station. A standard Genius I/O Control station is equipped with 8 Input/Output modules integrated on a block terminal and BIU. The module consists of the broad functionality of host architectures. The architecture is designed to meet various application demands.

The IC670ALG330 module is part of the Field Genus Control Input/Output range. This module has 8 different circuit output channels that come with user-configurable scaling for each point. Furthermore, it comes with a total of 8 current output loops on a single power supply. This analog module captures engineering units (digital data) from the BIU and scales it to meet the output current parameter range of 0 to 20.48 milliamperes. Open-wire detection & an over/under-range alarm are standard diagnostic features on this analog current module.

The over/under-range alarm only trips when the engineering unit value sent by the BIU results in an output value that exceeds the module's default scaling parameters. Other basic features this module is equipped with are the option to separately dictate each output channel as active/inactive, as well as three different scaling sections (pre-defined) and one unit of scaling option (user-defined). The IC670ALG330 analog source module operates with a power supply of 18-30 volts direct current (DC). It draws a maximum of 85 milliamperes of current. The module is programmed with hand-held configuration software and inserted on an Input/Output terminal block, that simplifies field wiring & permits the module to be replaced without rewiring the terminals.
