The GE Fanuc Emerson IC670ALG320 is an analog voltage/current output module. This module provides four (4) output channels with a resolution of 12 bits. These outputs can be employed for either current or voltage output ranges: from 4 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes, or from 0 volts DC to 10 volts DC. These output voltage and current ranges can be extended from 0 milliamperes to 20 milliamperes, and from 0 volts DC to 12.5 volts DC by employing an installed jumper on the terminal block. The IC670ALG320 provides a default scaling range from 0 to 20000 that can be reprogrammed through the handheld monitor for the desired current output value or engineering units converting. This module draws a current of 180 milliamperes at a voltage of 24 volts DC.

The IC670ALG320 outputs employ the backplane optical isolation offered by optocouplers to provide electrical isolation. The device includes a single LED indicator on the faceplate to show the module and diagnostics status. The unit dissipates an electrical power of 4.3 watts. The module requires a current of 51 milliamperes from the BIU power supply. This device supports a non-condensing relative humidity range from 5 percent to 95 percent and a vibration frequency range from 10 hertz to 500 hertz. This output module employs an analog output data length of 4 words. The IC670ALG320 is an open type module and should be mounted in an enclosure to protect the internal circuitry.
