The Cognex 630-C3E40 is a smart image sensor camera that can be employed for high-precision measurement and machine vision applications. This camera offers high-resolution CCD imaging with electronic shuttering times from 10 microseconds to 1 second. The device supports a regulated and isolated power supply with an input voltage of 24 Volts DC. The image sensor draws a current of 210 milliamperes and 1.710 Amperes when using a DVT LED strobe light. The 630-C3E40 can be programmed and configured using Windows programming software. This camera consumes a power of 5 Watts. The image sensor includes an RJ-45 Ethernet port with a data rate of either 10 Megabytes or 100 Megabytes for TCP/IP communication protocol with a PC. The 630-C3E40 can be mounted using four (4) M4 threaded holes.
The 630-C3E40 provides a CCD image sensor with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The image sensor needs a DVT breakout board to connect I/O and power sources.
