The Allen-Bradley MVI69-MCM master/slave network interface module provides a compatibility connection between Modbus devices and CompactLogix programmable automation controllers (PACs) and MicroLogix 1500 1769-LRP programmable logic controllers (PLCs) except 1769-L18x, 1769-L16x and 1769-L23E-QBFC1B. This Allen-Bradley MVI69-MCM network interface module can be employed as an I/O module and contains a processor memory to transfer data between the processor and module using ladder logic programming language. The Allen-Bradley single slot MVI69-MCM master/slave network interface module includes a serial RS232 with a maximum speed of 115 kilobauds, an RS485, an RS422 and an RJ-45 communication port. The Allen-Bradley MVI69-MCM master/slave network interface module can be configured as either Modbus master or Modbus slave with either RTU mode with CRC-16 or ASCII mode with LRC error checking. This Allen-Bradley MVI69-MCM master/slave network interface module operates with 5 volts DC with a current consumption of 800 milliamperes. The Allen-Bradley MVI69-MCM master/slave network interface module can operate at a temperature range of 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for industrial applications.
