Allen-Bradley?s 45LST-1LEA7-P4 is an optical fork sensor that has an enclosure rating of IP65. This photoelectric fork sensor features a side-through hole sensor and is manually adjustable with an adjustment sensitivity of a 25 turn potentiometer. The output source is selectable and designated either as push?pull output or NPN / PNP output. This sensor has two (2) LEDs on its user interface panel. The maximum current consumption rating of this device is 40 milliamperes.

Part number 45LST-1LEA7-P4 is a side-through hole fork sensor having selectable output such as DC – Light Operate or Dark Operate selectable. This fork sensor features a modulated infrared light source and is designed to detect small parts on conveyors and machines. The 45LST-1LEA7-P4 sensor is manufactured by Allen-Bradley and has ideal uses in the food, automotive, and paper industries. The sensor’s output source has the current-sinking NPN or current sourcing PNP designation. It comes with an industrial aluminum housing and a single recommended standard 4-pin DC Pico, M8 plug cord set of part number 889P-F4AB-2, which is used as communication media. This straight and unshielded connection media is a 4-pin PVC, yellow color, female type connection with a length of 5 meters. This connection can be quickly disconnected. This sensor has a sensing mode through a transmitted beam pair. A multi-turn sensitivity adjustor of this sensor makes it highly precise. The user interface panel of this sensor has sensitivity adjustment and two (2) LEDs. The green colored LED and red colored LED are designated for Power ON and Energized Output, respectively.

Allen-Bradley’s 889P-F4AB-2 circuit has protection against reverse polarity, overload, short circuit, and false pulse. This photoelectric optical fork's specifications include a response time of 1 millisecond, an enclosure type rating of IP65, an ideal working range of -20 °C to 60 °C, a sensing gap of 225 millimeters (8.86 inches), a maximum current consumption of 40 milliamperes, a supply voltage of 10 to 30 volts DC, and a loading current of 100 milliamperes. The physical dimensions of this product are 225 mm x 60 mm, or 8.86 inches x 2.36 inches.
