This switch is enclosed in a NEMA Type 2 rated enclosure.

The Allen Bradley 350-TAV32 is a 350 series reversing drum switch with a ball lever handle. This switch operates in three (3)-phase with no interlock and no remote handling. The switch is AC/DC rated with a line voltage of 600 volts AC (alternating current). The switch has a maximum power rating of 0.25 horsepower (Hp) at 115 to 230 volts DC (direct current). It has single-phase power ratings of 1.5 and 2 horsepower at 115 volts and 230 volts, respectively. Its maximum three-phase power rating is 2 horsepower at 200 volts, 230 volts, and 460 to 575 volts. The switch is housed in a NEMA Type 2 enclosure for environmental protection. It is CSA/UL approved for all applicable directives.
The 350-TAV32 drum switch has a ball lever capable of moving into three (3) positions. It has a Size A frame and is designed to break all the lines on three (3)-phase motors and 3 of the lines on two (2)-phase, four (4)-wire motors. When used with DC motors, the switch breaks one side of the field and both sides of armature lines. The drum switch can be surface, panel, and cavity mounted on to a machine base. The dimensions (length x width x height) and shipping weight of the drum switch vary depending on mounting style, with sizes of 3.0 inches x 2.5 inches x 5.9 inches and 1.5 pounds for surface mount, 3.9 inches x 2.125 inches x 5.2 inches and 1 pound for panel mount, and 3.0 inches x 3.4 inches x 5.3 inches and 1 pound for cavity mount. For cavity mounting, an additional flush plate is required which allows for oil-tight mounting.
