The 1734SC-IE4CH is a Point I/O module that was designed and manufactured by Spectrum Controls. This module has 4 different I/O channels. This module has a 16-bit resolution. It supports input via the Analog+ HART protocol. 250 ohms is the input impedance rating for this controller. It comes with over current protection of 28 mA. The thermal dissipation rating on this controller is 1 watt. This controller allows HART data acquisition and standard analog acquisition. It helps with simplifying the commissioning and maintenance of the connected HART device. 

The 1734SC-IE4CH can be deployed as a HART master. It can be deployed to form communication with other HART field units. There are multiple LED lights on the front mount of this unit. These LEDs have the primary responsibility of displaying the operation status, the module status, network status, as well as the channel status. This controller supports multiple of communication protocols such as the DeviceNet, Ethernet adapter, and the ControlNet. 

Each channel of this module can independently program the HART protocol. The 1734SC-IE4CH is the primary HART master module. Additionally, the connected field device is the HART slave device. The Spectrum Controls 1734sc-IE4CH Point I/O module has an operating temperature range of-20 to 55 degrees Celsius, or -4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The non-operating temperature range of this device, however, is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, or -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The relative humidity of the device's surrounding area should remain within a range of 80 to 95 percent condensing when operational.
