The 700-HN122 is a socket unit that is designed to be used as a screw terminal socket and it was manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. The socket is used as an accessory for the 700-HK Relay. The socket is designed to be mounted via a DIN rail or a panel mount. The socket is also designed with an 8-blade miniature socket. This type of socket is better known as DPST-NO. The current rating that the socket can handle is five (5) amperes (A). The socket is to be attached with a relay that has two (2) poles and the socket can also accept forked lug conductors. Retainer clips are included with the socket package and in each package, there are 10 sockets.
The 700-HN122 socket has eight (8) screws, in which each is a M3.5 x 0.315 screw. The wire size of the 700-HN122 socket is 2 x 2.5 mm². The socket handles single wire up to 14 American Wire Gauge (AWG) and for Double wire, the socket handles up to 2 x 2.5 mm², or 14 American wire Gauge (AWG) to 20 American Wire Gauge (AWG) with a quantity of two (2) wires. The wires can either be solid or stranded. The strip length for the socket is nine (9) millimeters (mm), or 3/8 inches, provided that the maximum torque be 0.8 Newton-meters (Nm), or seven (7) lb-in.
