This module is ideal for parallel operations. The input current is 3 amperes while the inrush current is 30 amperes. For easy access, all connection blocks are mounted on the front panel. Its power density is 230 watts per liter housing volume. Its stranded wire size input is 0.5 to 4 square millimeters (mm²) while the solid wire size is 0.5 to 6 square millimeters (mm²). Stranded wire size output is 0.5 to 10 square millimeters (mm²) and the solid wire size is 0.5 to 16 square millimeters (mm²). The embedded DCOK contact monitors the output voltage. 

It incorporates an input voltage of 380 to 400 volts alternating current. Its smaller size makes it extremely impressive. The 1606-XLS96OE-3 power supply has to be installed in an enclosed area. Its installation is made simple due to its integrated power manager, 3 input fuses, and near-zero inrush input current.

The input inrush current is limited as the power supply features an active limitation circuit. This module contains a shut-down input feature. The 1606-XL596OE-3 weighs 1500 grams (g), which is equivalent to 3.3 pounds (lb.). The height of this DIN rail is 35 millimeters (mm). The DIN rail height must be added to the unit depth for accurate dimension measurement. 

The 1606-XLSBuffer 24 module is a supplementary device for direct current power supplies. This module holds up time after the turn-off of the acting current power. During voltage fault, energy can be emitted in a controlled manner. Forty (40) amperes is required to buffer the entire output power, thus 2 buffer modules are required.
