The 1606-XLE80E is a single-phase module that Allen-Bradley manufactures. It is a switching mode power supply module that is more efficient than its competition. A DIN rail or panel can be used to mount the power supply. It has a 24 Volt DC output voltage and a 24 to 28 Volts adjustable range. At 24 Volts DC, the output current is 3.3 Amps, and at 28 Volts DC, the output current is 2.7 amps. The 1606-XLE80E unit's line frequency is between 50 and 60 Hertz and it can incorporate input voltages between 100 to 240V AC. The current after turning on the input voltage is limited by an NTC inrush limiter. After turning on the module, the charging current into the EMI suppression capacitors is ignored. The voltage out terminal of a power converter is connected to the output voltage regulator. The 1606-XLE80E power supply module is made with high-quality components and has a longer lifespan than similar products. The input and output terminals are located on the product's front side. The 1606-XLE80E power supply module's input terminal is earthed and has a neutral and line input. Positive and negative outputs with dual pins per pole are available as well. A potentiometer is included with the output terminals and can be used to adjust the output voltage. When the voltage level is greater than 21 Volts, an LED indicator is incorporated inside the module. For normal module operation, the ambient temperature should be set between -25 and 70 degrees Celsius.
