The Rockwell Automation power terminal block 1492-PD3C287 is tested per the UL1059 testing requirements and its short circuit current rating is per the National Electric Code (2005) and UL508A (effective April 2006). The terminal block is widely used in industrial control panels. The block has three poles and a current rating of 760 Amperes. The rated wire range in line configuration is 500 kcmil for 2 #6 wires per phase and for load type configuration the wire size range is #2 to #14, with up to 8 wires per phase allowed. The block can be used for power distribution or as a feed through or splice block. It is open style and separate protective covers can be added to it. The temperature rating of the insulation material is 150 degrees Celsius (302 degrees Fahrenheit). Its dimensions are 8.54 x 5.5 x 3.23 inches (216.92 x 139.7 x 82.0 millimeters). The block is UL 1059, CSA C22.2 No. 158, and EN/IEC 60947-1 compliant and CE marked, CSA certified, and UL component recognized. It also has a flammability rating of 94 V-0. At high SCCR rating conditions, the suitable conductors for line are 500 kcmil-250 kcmil with copper wire size of 4/0 to #4 and load wire size is 2/0 to #6. The overcurrent protection fuse required by class amperage rating is reported to be 600 Amperes for J and T class, 400 Amperes for RK1, 200 Amperes for RK5, 60 Amperes for G, and 30 Amperes for CC class. The RMS for Sym A is ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 and maximum voltage is 600 Volts.
